This email is to provide you with the updated protocols for course and clubhouse access from Monday 11th October. While the full details are contained in the protocols, the important points to stress are:
- Only players who are double vaccinated can play in groups of 4.
- Timesheets will be monitored to ensure we comply with the NSW Government Health Orders re: the ability to play in 4’s.
- Details on how to provide your proof of vaccination are included in the link below.
- Clubhouse access is restricted to persons who are double vaccinated (also a NSW Government Health Order).

This will be the last email that will come out under my name with your new GM Greg Edwards commencing today. I will however, be around for a few weeks to assist Greg in transitioning into the role.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank President Garry and the Board for the opportunity to assist you over the past five months. They have been a great Board to work with and despite a very difficult few months, are fully committed to striving for the best for BGC members for both the course and the clubhouse and I wish them the very best going forward.
It has been a very different experience running a club by email and phone from home over the past few months, and it could not have been done without the co-operation and flexibility of all the BGC staff and I thank them for their support.
To all those members who haven’t been able to access the course for many months, I am sure you will appreciate the efforts that Dave and the course staff have made in looking after the course and the many improvements that have been made to make your round of golf even more enjoyable.
