PLAYING CONDITIONS FROM 4TH SEPTEMBER

Dear Members,

The NSW Government has announced that as of tomorrow Friday 3rd September exercise will be unlimited within LGA’s of concern. Bankstown Golf Club will resume competition and social play for people within a 5km radius of the club as of Saturday 4th September.

A Saturday restart will allow Course Superintendent Dave and his staff to prepare the course for a resumption of play on that day and the course will open every day from that point until further notice. Please note that as course staff have been focusing on other activities that the course presentation in the first few days may be down on par, but the team will get soon back on top of it.

Please read the following attachment, Playing Conditions for play from Saturday, and note the following moving forward

  • Current Tee Sheet for Saturday will be removed, and members will need to book again.
  • Facemasks are no longer required to be worn whilst playing your round but required before reaching the first tee and again leaving the final green.
  • Plans have been put in place for maintenance of certain parts of the course over the next month. Some holes may be out of play during this period. Members will be notified closer to this time.
  • Bookings and tee sheets will continue to be reviewed.
