COURSE CLOSED

An inspection of the course today shows that every hole has at least surface water on it with the back nine in particular suffering from significant flooding. Bunkers are flooded and will require significant work to be restored in coming weeks. That isn’t at all surprising as it occurs whenever significant rains fall on the course. You can see in the videos below that the canal is at peak load and with more rain to fall today we will be keeping a close eye on what happens. The good news is that the greens have generally withstood the rains and given the renovations that took place last week will hopefully come back on line relatively quickly.

Discussion is continuing in relation to when the course might reopen for play and how many holes might be available. Given the continuing rain today, the course will be closed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The greens staff will continue to monitor the situation and provide us with their advice. A decision will be made on Friday as to whether the course will be open on the weekend.

We will continue to provide updates to keep all members informed.
